Junior School Girls Fitness
For the last couple of weeks I have been working with a Primary School in Reading.
It seems Year 5 & 6 girls are not taking part in enough physical activity & fitness, so I have been working on a 5 week programme that gives them the opportunity to try lots of different activities to spark some interest in after school and during school activities next term.
Week 1 – Latino Dance
Week 2 – Circuit training
Week 3 – Sports Skills
Week 4 – Aerobics, Pilates & Stretch
Week 5 – Cheerleading
I have been working with Year 4 & 5 this term, as going into the winter term they will be the new year 5 & 6.
We then hope the girls will choose one or two activities that they will take part in next year…wonder what they will choose?
I think they might suprise me!
