Junior School Girls Fitness
For the last couple of weeks I have been working with a Primary School in Reading.
It seems Year 5 & 6 girls are not taking part in enough physical activity & fitness, so I have been working on a 5 week programme that gives them the opportunity to try lots of different activities to spark some interest in after school and during school activities next term.
First Week and so far so very good So that is my first week complete and I have to say I have loved every minute of it! I have confirmed 2 new permanent morning classes, had 2 successful primary school PPA session trials, booked in plenty of cover classes throughout the summer and had various meetings with youth centres and…
So I am now on my official countdown…1 week left in full time employment! Available for 1-2-1’s, 2-2-1’s and group fitness sessions for Adults and Children. At gyms, leisure centres, schools, youthclubs, corporate offices, own homes…the list goes on! I have spent this weekend on my Les Mills Body Balance course.
It was pretty hardcore and I am in all amounts of pain today…No pain, no gain and all that 😉
I have my final day next Saturday, at which point I hope to be cleared to teach.
